Job Summary and Mission

Pizza Hut Botswana is looking to employ a progressive and innovative leader to head up the region of Gaborone where we are developing the Pizza Hut Brand. The Area Coach is responsible for the overall running of the restaurants in the elected area, training, people development, customer service, speed of service, stock and cost control, turnover and health and safety.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
In addition to the extensive training program that you will experience in one of our stores, here are some of the skills and requirements that YOU will need to bring to the make table:

  • Creating value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
  • Effectively manage stores within the policies and guidelines of the company, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times
  • Control day-to-day operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team
  • Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies are met
  • Control profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members, conduct performance appraisals, take disciplinary action, motivate, and train
  • Have the authority to hire and fire (or participate in those decisions)
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance program
  • Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction
  • Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing programs
  • Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team
  • Have fun and motivate the team on a daily basis

Basic Qualifications
You have at least 2 years of leadership experience in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industry. A valid driver’s license with reliable transport.
